We took another opportunity to camp last summer. Jared took the boys for a couple days while I was at Girl's Camp, but the last time we'd gone as a family ended up being the only 2 days that we had to search, find & purchase a new family car so needless to say, there was not a lot of camping that gone done that time. More like we car shopped during the day & slept in our tent at night. Not so fun when you're 4 & 6. This time was much better!

We started out playing a game about how well the boys could trickle water into Daddy's mouth. Which - as you can see - quickly became, "Let's see how long Daddy will lay there while we dump water on his face!"

Changing to go swimming...

Where there are little boys in the woods, there will be a little boy holding a stick!
That's actually good. He can protect our campsite from the bears.
