This was the first year we decided to do friends birthday parties for the boys. Jonah chose to have his party at Zoink's ~ a cool indoor play area with giant blow-up slides, bounce houses, etc. It was great - for everyone! Jonah was able to invite many friends, and Zoink's takes care of everything. We all had a great time.
It was SO fun to see so many of Jonah's friends from different places all in one room! He invited friends from school, church, scouts, soccer, basketball, the neighborhood ... plus his brother & one cousin :)

The only thing Jonah asked for for months prior to his birthday was a pet hamster. We only ever answered him, "Maybe, we'll see." So after his party, we drove as a surprise to PetCo & let him pick out a hamster. When we pulled into the parking lot, Jonah saw where we were and said, "Are you gonna let me get a hamster?!?!?!" He was so excited. And she's very cute! Jonah has named her "Princess".
